Temporary closures at Carnarvon

Update 20.1.22: This alert is cancelled. All tracks are now open
Previously: There’s been significant rain at Carnarvon Gorge – which is awesome but it also means all tracks and most sites have temporarily closed.
This includes the main walking track into the gorge.
The only sites that are open are Mickey Creek and Rock Pools (no swimming) at the mouth of the gorge.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
