Fluoridated Drinking Water for CH Residents

Residents of Tieri, Emerald, Blackwater, Rubyvale and Sapphire are set to receive fluoridated drinking water from 31 December 2011, which is a mandatory legal requirement under the Water Fluoridation Act 2008. All water providers servicing communities of more than 1,000 people need to comply with this State Government legislation.  Commissioning work commenced in the middle of November. Fluoride will be added periodically from this time, with permanent fluoridation commencing from 31 December 2011.
