What are Natural Resources?
Soil, water, air, plants, animals & mineral deposits are all natural resources. Farmers and graziers manage natural resources in the daily operation of their properties. On-farm examples of natural resource management include: water-use efficiency for irrigators, timber management via thinning, soil conservation via minimum till and controlled traffic farming, animal pest & weed management, position of watering points for stock, pasture improvements…
CHRRUP is Owned and Run by Central Highlands Industry and Community Representatives
13 local Industry and Community groups are represented on the CHRRUP Regional Resource Council & Board.
